As mentioned in the Evolution of Gray post, gray is an achromatic color, meaning that it is a color without color. This is made evident by the color wheel above and the grayscale chart above as well.
Benjamin Moore Paint offers 231 colors of gray. This family of gray consists mostly of earth tones. The colors range from browns to tans and pinks to blues. The more you look into the colors in this family the further reaching you see the color gray is. Ranging from greens to yellows to clay colors such as red. This also shows how complimentary so many colors are with gray, and how easy it would be to pair gray with just about any color.
On a side note, Pantone announced Paloma, a neutral gray, as one of the men’s color palette colors for spring 2014 fashion.
